For the fourth year, Santa Sails to Winkwell was put on by volunteers on 10th and 11th December at at the Three Horseshoes , Winkwell in order to raise money for DENS (Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter)

On each night Santa arrived by canal boat and welcomed over 90 children into his grotto to receive a Christmas gift.

The total raised over the weekend just topped £1,000 – which means that over the last four years, this event has raised over £3,000 for local charities.
